　　A typing match was held in my family this Sunday. Father was the first one to type. He typed so fast that he got a score of 29 characters a minute. Mother and sister got 21 and 25 respectively. Then it was my turn,I felt a bit nervous, for I wanted to outdo my father. Because my fingers are more flexible than my father＇s, I won the first prize by 30 characters a minute at last. It was really an interesting Sunday.

　　在一间书房里，时不时地会传出一句句英语句子。走近一看，我正坐在书桌前讲着一篇关于骆驼的英语故事，旁边则坐着严肃的妈妈，她时不时地给我纠正错误。这就是比赛前的我，一个将要尝试比赛的我。

　　经过几天的反复练习，我胸有成竹地来到了赛场准备比赛。

　　只见一个女孩大大方方地走上舞台，开始自我介绍。随后流利地讲起了准备的英语故事。她讲得眉飞色舞，绘声绘色。评委老师听得如痴如醉，仿佛自己也进入了她的故事。这无疑是给了我们后面的选手来了个下马威。我紧张的心情如起伏的波浪，一下子又一下地拍打着满载信心和希望的小船，我的心都快蹦出来了。这时，一个熟悉的'声音在我耳边回荡：“不要气妥，不要紧张，主要你努力了，成功一定会紧紧地拉住你的手。”我的心渐渐平静下来，但还是会有抑制不住的紧张。

　　轮到我上场了，我怀着忐忑不安地走上了舞台。我先深深地吸了一口气，开始做起了自我介绍，但可以清晰的听出，我的声音有点微微的颤抖。讲着讲着，我仿佛看见了优质骆驼在沙漠上行走，在绿洲里吃草。接二连三的画面出现在了我的眼前。我的心平静了下来，声音不再颤抖，人也变得大方起来了，还加上了动作和感情。当我讲完了最后一句话，又说了结束语之后，我不禁长长地吁了一口气。当我往台下看时，评委老师向我投来了赞许的目光，嘴上露出了甜甜的微笑。

　　晚上回到家，发现妈妈比以往都要高兴，我很奇怪。妈妈告诉我了我一个好消息：“集团，你的英语故事比赛得了全年段第一名！”我听了这个消息，高兴得差点跳了起来，这可真是一个令我振奋的好消息啊！

　　此次比赛本着“人人参与”的原则，在初中三个年级中进行。以《My holidy》（我的假期）为题，学生们现场发挥，在30分钟的时间内写出一篇100词作文。比赛过程中，参赛选手胸有成竹，屏气凝神，严格遵守比赛规则，表现出优秀的参赛风格。全部同学在规定时间内完成，甚至有几位同学提前做完，显示出同学们对英语的有效掌握。学生作文水平虽显稚嫩，但从单词、句子的运用，到语法篇章的安排，都显示出了英语教学有了明显的进步，这是同学们勤学英语的结果，也是每位实践队员辛勤教学的`结果。最终，赵芳同学脱颖而出荣获一等奖，刘涵、赵紫、赵伟等分获二、三等奖，队员们为其颁发奖状、奖品，以资鼓励。赛后，实践团将同学们的作品在橱窗中展示，以供大家交流学习。同学们表示今后一定再接再厉，学好英语。队员们鼓励大家在日常生活中也要勤学勤用，在实践中探索英语的奥秘。

　　今天，我和妈妈以及姨妈和万好姐姐一起去参加英语比赛。

　　在比赛的路途中，我们出了一点小插曲：当上了城西干道高架桥时，城西干道上竟然堵车了，车子一动不动，就像一件摆设。我看了一下表，猛地一惊，已经3:45分了，在这样堵下去，我就要迟到了。这可怎么办？我焦急万分。我想到了爱情公寓这部电视剧里的场景，主人公曾小贤被堵在中环路上进退两难，我现在也是这样，最后，我们终于慢慢的移动到了堵车的源头，终于又走上了好走的路。

　　·到了考试地点致远外国语小学了，此时，我的心非常的紧张。虽然我已经会背了我的演讲稿，也会唱那一首歌，可是我还是觉得很紧张。这时，老师喊到了我，我平复自己的心情，和妈妈一起走进了考场。在考试中，我虽然有些紧张，但努力的大声演讲，我认为讲的.非常的不错。可是在最后的时候出了点意外，在老师说："thank you."的时候，我给老师鞠了一躬，就慌慌忙忙的走出了考场，老妈对我说，你也应该讲一下thank you，我觉得这是我的一个失误。
